Ok, so I’m not a good poet, sonnets, limericks…the lot! But I do have a little something, and on my birthday I thought I would blog it! It’s a poem…I think, maybe it could be a song? Any music writers out there?? It’s completely fictitious so to my GF’s out there don’t panic! Its soppy and maudlin because it’s me and I’m a sucker for romance; ok here goes…

ONLY IN MY HEAD, ONLY IN MY HEART
I’M WITH YOU AND I’M WHOLE AGAIN
I’M WITHOUT YOU AND I’M LOST AGAIN
THE SCRAPING AT MY HEART THAT MISSING YOU BRINGS,
IS PART OF ME NOW. IT’S THE BREAD THAT I EAT,
IT’S THE TOSSING AND TURNING OF MY SLEEP,
AND IT’S IN THE FIBRE OF MY EVERY NEW DAY.
